Occupying a prime location directly below the famous Monte Carlo casino, the Fairmont Monte Carlo opened in 1975 and became a Fairmont property in March 2005. It features seven floors, 616 guestrooms, and a long, sleek layout that recalls the yachts and cruise ships that pass by its seaside windows.

There are regular helicopter flights from Nice airport to Monaco with shuttle links from the heliport to the hotel. The average journey time is 7 minutes. There are also regular daily connections by coach from the airport and the service stops in front of the hotel. There is a taxi rank outside the arrivals hall. A train can also be caught from Nice to Monte Carlo and the train station is 500 metres from the hotel.
Driving directions: From Nice take 56 Monaco exit and head towards Monaco. There is a choice of three major roads called Basse, Moyenne and Grande which offer attractive scenic routes towards Monaco.
Monte Carlo town centre is easily explored on foot and is well connected by bus or train to other destinations in the region. A car is recommended for trips further afield.
