Nice International Airport (NCE): Approximate driving time to the Hotel Port Palace - The Stein Group Hotels - is 40 minutes and distance is 30 kilometres (20 miles).
SNCF national train services run to/from the airport every 30 minutes from Cannes Gare St Laurent du Var and every 45 minutes from Nice (Gare Nice Ville). Monaco-Monte Carlo train station is 200 metres from the hotel. Taxi stands are located outside both terminals, a typical fare to the hotel will cost €80. Motorway tolls may be added to the fare. A helicopter shuttle service is available at the airport, and should cost around €80 to the hotel.
Driving directions: From Nice, take the A8 motorway and follow directions for Monaco. In Monaco follow signs for Monaco – Ville, and then follow directions for Monte Carlo. After the tunnel, continue into Boulevard Albert. At the end of the Boulevard, turn right and head towards Forum Grimaldo, The Port Palace is located 200 metres on the left.
Regular public buses serve the area. Hiring a car is recommended for exploring further afield.
